Being a first year teacher, my life is consumed by lesson planning, material finding, grading, and all the unexpected odds and ends that teaching has to bring.
Even though my life has changed, exercise is one area that I am not willing to sacrifice!
I used to be a total gym rat, logging at least 2 hours a day 5 days a week, which was awesome, but had it’s con’s as well (aches and pains, overuse issues).
Now, I purposely schedule time for the gym and am able to get in there 4 days a week for at least an hour.
I alway aim to burn about 700 calories, I love high interval, fast paced, muscle enhancing workouts. I love being fit and continuously challenging myself to be my personal best.
So here are some goals that I would like to maintain and would love YOUR imput!
1. Maintain and/or lose a couple pounds.
I’m 5’6″ and have an athletic build and by no means will EVER be twiggy, however, I love to maintain my athletic shape. Currently (*deep breathe* I’ll post my weight) I weigh 137lbs and my goal is to maintain 135lbs so thats a couple lbs down that I’d like to achieve within the next month. Any suggestions how to budge those stubborn 2 pounds?!?
2. Maintain a slender physique. I love being toned. I’d love some insight on the most efficient workouts to maintain and bolster a toned body 🙂
Therefore, I’m looking for any insight you all may have to help me reach my goals! I do not want to get stuck in a fitness rut and need all of your expert advice to keep me motivated and on my way to success. So I would LOVE to hear suggestions and I’ll post my results!!
