This summer has been an exciting one for me! First summer of my teaching career. First cruise/vacation with my beloved boyfriend. First trip overseas to Scotland and Paris 🙂
A lot of firsts! A lot of fun and a LOT accomplished!
While over in Scotland and Paris, as much as I was enjoying the food, my sister and I did an insane amount of touring, sight-seeing, and most of all WALKING!
Even though I didn’t have my usual exercise routine, walking so much did help keep gaining a ton of weight off.
However, I’ve returned with a few pounds to battle with so I’m back to my workout routine, logging some quality runs in and finally getting back to NYSC after I froze my membership 🙂
Today was a UXF and yoga day. I’ve decided to add more yoga into my routine as I return to working out because I’ve had some injuries and want to prevent others.
Breakfast was some cereal with coconut milk, after my workout I had a recovery shake with coconut milk, and for lunch I had a salad with mushrooms, cucumbers, and some bbq chicken on top with italian dressing yum….but as of right now I’m hungry again haha
off to snack on some carrots!
